We are working to create a low powered radio network that covers the whole region. This will enable the deployment of low cost sensors that can be the basis of a huge range of applications.
We are building networks, Internet of Things (IoT) devices and learning materials to help our community understand and use technology.
We are a Community Interest Company (CIC). This means that any profits that we make are applied to our objectives.
Our members have a wealth of experience at every level and we take pride in our ability to deliver quality soluitons.
The worsening of the COVID situation has forced us to move the Christmas meetup online. However, there will be a silly Christmas Quiz by way of a compensation.
The meetup starts at 6:00 pm and runs until 7:30. If you want to show off your hardware, or just talk about something you're thinking of making we'd love to see you.
You can find out about previous meetings here.

The Monitair project is building a network of conncted air quality sensors. We are creating sensor designs, networking infrastructure and visualisation tools to help us understand the local air quality situation.
We want to run build events where local people can engage with technology by creating working devices, whether they are building robots to play with or air quality sensors to connect to the Monitair network.
We’ve built our first of the set of four sensors that are due for deployment in Hull city centre.
